This past weekend, December 4th, 5th and 6th their was a Offense and Defense National Championship Qualifying Tournament in Argyle, TX  in which my son’s team the Keller Warriors participated in.

The Warriors did not play on the first night, instead they played their first game on Saturday the 5th. The first game was a blowout as they defeated the McKinney Titans by a score of 49-0!! The Warrior boys just played tremendous football out there on the field. For them to go out and play the way they did in freezing weather was amazing. The Titans could move the ball at all on the Warriors defense, they might have made one first down but I do not believe they did.

For the second game of the day which was played at 9:00pm, when the temperature was even more unbearable, the Warriors went on the field to play against the Red River Renegades from Quanah, TX. This team was no match for the Warriors as they blew them out 38-0!!! The Renegades did have one player that would never give up and that was their runningback #5. He was scrappy and little but fought for everything he got.

On Sunday the 6th, it was Championship time. The Keller Warriors were facing the Houston Saints for the tournament championship. The Saints had a very big team, some very good sized players. From everything we heard we were going to be in for a fight. Well not so much, the Warriors walked out on the field and the game was over. The just held the Saints in check the whole game and ended up winning the Championship with a score of 20-0. I was a bit disgusted by the play of some of the Saints players as they continued to try and fight our players through the whole game. I mean they would literally punch the Warrior players as they would tackle them, they would deliver multiple late hits and then talk trash to the players. The coaches seemed to be just like the dirty players so I can only say “You set an example for the players to follow and they follow your lead”. Some one needs to talk to the coaches of that team.

It was a great weekend of football as I watched my son and his team win the Championship. Now that they won the championship they are invited to go to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to play for the National Title against teams from all over the nation!!!!

I hope they win the National!!! Good luck to my son and all of the Warrior players and coaches, hope you guys go to South Carolina and show them what real football is!!!!

images    How do you get criticized for eating a damn hotdog? I do not understand why anyone is having any type of problem with Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez for eating a hotdog on the sideline after they throttled the Oakland Raiders. I think that Mark Sanchez feeling the need to apologize makes the situation even more absurd. The guy ate a hotdog, he was hungry and said he wasn’t feeling to well so he thought if he ate something he would feel better. Ok, now where in the NFL handbook does it prohibit a player from eating on the sideline? Probably no where, but I could be mistaken.

I would like to know who was complaining about it and felt they needed an apology for it. Was it Raiders fans on the Jets sideline that saw him eating and thought it was disrespectful? How about this Raiders, play better, score some points and play defense. Maybe you are too worried about other things or should I say stupid things than how well your team and coaches are doing.

People need to get a life and quit finding any little incident to bitch about. I can careless if a player eats a hotdog or anything for that matter on the sideline. When runner’s are running in a marathon they grab stuff to eat as they are running, why can’t an NFL quarterback? He is burning energy out there on the gridiron too. I believe it was just angry Raiders fans that hate the fact that their team is atrocious that they feel the need to complain about the team that is whipping their ass or the media really didn’t have anything else better to write about.

Kudos to Mark Sanchez for donating 500 hotdogs and 500 hamburgers and buns to a homeless shelter to feed the needy. I guess people really thought it was wrong for him to eat a hotdog on the sideline that they griped enough to make his PR person feel the need to have him make a donation. Anyways homeless people got feed but the Raiders still got the hides tanned. For everyone else, are you really there to watch for someone eating on the sideline or to watch a football game? C’mon!!!!! Watch the game or go home!!!

Well, I went 11-5 with my picks for this past weekend, and I must say there were a few suprises in the NFL.

To start things off, what in the hell is wrong with the Arizona Cardinals offense? Kurt Warner is struggling, as he has the entire pre season but come on. I don’t understand what the problem is. Could he have really dropped of f that bad in the offseason? Now Jay Cutler, was he worth what the Bears gave up for him? Maybe he will be able to prove his worth for the entire season since this is only one game, but I am pretty sure Denver’s Head Coach is laughing at the performance Cutler had Sunday evening.  I should have won my Cincinnatti pick if it wasn’t for that fluke play with the tipped pass to Brandon Stokely, what a shocker.

In the fantasy world, my teams were horrible. Matt Forte did not have a good game, maybe it was the Green Bay defense or the fact that Cutler couldn’t hit any of his receivers. I sure wish I had Mr. Adrian Peterson on my team. That guy is a beast, I can’t even count how many broken tackles he had. Three other guys that were standouts this past weekend were Drew Brees, Santonio Holmes and Ben Watson. Watson had two amazing catches that were made by running the same play, while Drew Brees tossed 6 touchdown passes. Will Brees break the touchdown record? He just might.

By Saturday night I will have my picks in for week 2 NFL games. I hope some of my fantasy players fix thier problems this week including: Kurt Warner, Matt Forte, Terrell Owens and Matt Shaub. All in all, I enjoyed the week 1 NFL season opening weekend.

So the great Bret Favre has decided to come back out of retirement after playing along the Vikings and telling them there is no way he would come out of retirement, that is until after the grueling training camp was over.

Yes, Brett Favre won a Super Bowl but how long ago was that? It was when he beat the Patriots. That was over 10 years ago. Since then he hasn’t won a Super Bowl, yeah he has had good years but he is being treated like he is still an MVP quarterback which I believe he is not.

The other Vikings players should be extremely upset and I don’t blame them, i mean you got this guy that did this same thing to the Packers each year because he said he couldn’t handle the physical and mental side of the game anymore. The Packers get tired of it and move on because they have to worry about thier team not just one guy who can’t make up his mind. Then he tells the Jets that he is retiring, asks for his papers and then starts entertaining offers from the Vikings. He then decides he was going to stay retired. But as soon as training camp is done, no more two a days going on and he’s there ready to sign a deal. He is around 40 years old with no conditioning, how long do you think he is going to last out there? Maybe half a season like the Jets? I don’t think he is going to do much for the Vikings, I honestly think I would rather have Jackson or Sage at this point. Yeah he will have Adrian Peterson but still he has no conditioning regardless of how long he has played. Vikings players should be upset that they let him do that.

All i know is that he should stay retired, people say he earned the right to play football as long as he wants, yeah whatever I am tired of hearing that. Just move on, it’s not like you don’t have enough money. He just doesn’t want to have to grow up yet. He sees what it is like being at home now and thats why he keeps coming back to football because at home you have to do stuff you don’t like. Ha.

Well i wish the best for the other Vikings players but I hope Favre is out on his ass after a couple of games just for the way he keeps playing around with teams. Which the teams need to quit letting him play around with them too.

Well I just listened to the Philadelphia Eagles press conference as they were introducing Michael Vick to the team.

I knew he was going to land some where, but I did not expect him to land in Philadelphia. I figured he would land some where that the team is in need of some better quarterback play like San Francisco, Jacksonville, Denver or even Minnesota.

The Eagles have two quarterbacks on the roster that they supposedly love in McNabb and Kolb. The only things I could think of that would make them sign Vick is to possibly take over for McNabb because it seems like every year there are rumors that McNabb is no longer going to be with the team, but that seems unlikely. The other reason they might have signed him is to use him as a runningback, which in my opinion he has always been a runningback playing the quarterback position. Heck Brian Westbrook can never stay healthy for an entire season so he may be a replacement for Westbrook. Whatever the reason they got him, it is not to sit on the bench. They are going to put him on the field the day he is eligible to play.

When McNabb, Jackson, Westbrook or McCoy, Maclin and Vick are on the field together it will more than likely be the fastest team on the field in any game. It will be exciting to see how this works out.

As for fantasy football play with Vick, I don’t really know how it is going to work out. I guess we will just have to wait and see how they are going to use him and how often before going out and drafting him. I believe in most cases he will be available as a free agent in most leagues.

Vick is back, so let’s quit talking about his dog fighting troubles. It is the past he served his time and talking about it isn’t going to keep him from playing obviously. The NFL knows Vick is an electrifying player and will bring money to the league, so that’s why he is back.

Now let’s get ready for the NFL season, we are almost there pre-season has already started!!!

Come on people, he has paid his debt. And what is this pay his debt to society? Who gives a dang what society thinks. Why does the society need a debt payed? I love dogs but it was an animal he killed, which people kill animals everyday. I think he spent to much time in prison if you ask me. I mean alot of people wear leather and eat animals that were killed everyday. It just happens to be an animal that people have as pets, thats the only difference. He didn’t go out and kill a human being, like Donte Stallworth or Leonard Little. He served time in prison and is on probabtion, had house arrest went bankrupt and still doesn’t have a job. He has paid his dues. Now let the man be, he didn’t molest your child, rape your sister, kill your mom and dad (which could be the case in Leonard Little or Donte Stallworth, I’m sure those people had families that got killed.) He killed dogs that were already born and raised to fight and kill. Something the Animal shelters do everyday. They will kill a wild animal. A coyote and wolf is a breed of dog but they get killed all the time. People that keep griping about it, get over it get a life, go hug your own dog and shut up about Vick. HE HAS PAID HIS DUES. Go gripe about Donte Stallworth only getting 30 days for killing a man. I mean he got like 3 days of media coverage, but Vick can never escape anyone because of dogs. WTF?

This story is just stupid. They are always trying to find a damn gene for everything. This is just another case of the wussification of America. Always an excuse for why a child does something. Can’t ever be because the child is just bad or because the parent didn’t do what they were suppossed too.

You know if my son lived with his mom, I know damn well he would be in a gang and strutting around like some hard core thug. But he lives with me and I raise him right. He does good in school and he is dedicated to football. Doesn’t cause much problems and listens to what I say. The only problem I have with him is he can’t ever remember his damn house key.

I am tired of people coming up with excuses why kids are either dumb or just bad ass kids. Everbody has a gene in them that makes them tick. We are humans, we all have some kind of anger in us. So for centuries now we are to believe that “Gangs” were created by people who had a “Warrior Gene”. Whatever. They were just kids who got treated bad or wanted attention or it is just all they have known their whole life because they had deadbeat parents that thought they were still gangbangers when they were 50.

People, People, People, if you don’t want your kid to be in a gang, then teach them right, treat them right and if you have to lay the smack down on them, do it. I don’t mean beat the hell out them. Just don’t let some 13 year old kid run over you, they act the way they do either because they get to do whatever they want without consequences or they are just dumbasses.

Where were all these gangs and crap in the early times that were filled with children? None, the gangs back then were adults. Kids back then did what they were suppossed too, they had to work and got whipped when need be. But today, kids do not have to do anything, so that’s why they join gangs and do dumb stuff because they are bored and have nothing to fill their time up during the day.

Make your kids do things, whip them if you have too. Don’t believe your child has a “Warrior Gene”. I know their is alot of weak parents that will believe that just to make another excuse.

Peace out

Last night on 6/24/09, Big Black from the Rob & Big MTV Show made an appearance at BoomerJack’s in Bedford, TX. He was accompanied by BamBam and some Old Guy that was all blinged out from head to toe and dressed in a tank top with shiny jeans and cowboy boots. He had to be at least 50 years old. He was a crazy old man though.

They were all there last night for a Miller Lite promotion. Big Black and BamBam were the Taste Protector’s of the promotion. They even had shirts on that claimed that they were Taste Protector’s. It was pretty funny.

My coworker’s and I were the security for them. I work there part time as a bouncer so it was kind of included in our duties to be their security.

Both men, Big Black and BamBam are some large individuals. It was funny to see them pull up in a black on black Dodge Charger and get out. It just didn’t seem like a car they would all fit in. LOL!! Big Black was a pretty cool dude. At first it seemed like he was going to be a prick but after about an hour he came over and chilled with me and Mike Sierra another bouncer. I had a pretty lengthy conversation with him, which was pretty cool. He is going to be in Houston, Austin and San Antonio for the promotions also. It was also a cool note that I found out that he has a house in Frisco.

I believe that the “Old Guy” that was them is suppossed to be part of a new show Big Black. I think that is what he was talking about. The old guy was crunk though. He was the life of the party last night. He was getting crunk to Vanilla Ice and N’Sync, LOL!!! He was trying to party all night.

Well that is my interesting story about last night. Maybe it’s not that interesting to you guys but it was for me. It was a pretty cool night.

So for all of you in San Antonio, Austin and Houston, keep a look out for him because he will be there. Peace out.

I checked out this link on Yahoo Sports,

I posted this just to prove a point on how messed up the justice system is in America.  Earlier I had posted a rant on how I thought it was ridiculous that Donte Stallworth was sentenced to 30 days in jail for murder or I’m sorry Manslaughter. That name actually sounds worse than murder in my opinion.

Well this story just shows you how ridiculous it is. A man stole Lance Armstrongs bike and received 3 years in prison for it. What the hell!!??? So in the justice systems eyes, Mr. Lance Armstrongs bike is more important than the man Donte Stallworth murdered? I just can’t understand that.

Like I said it is all about money. Stallworth who has money killed someone without as much and gets 30 days.  A man without money stole a bike from somebody that does have money, being Lance Armstrong and he gets 3 years. Go figure.

There is no justice in America and anyone who says there is, well is just as dumb as the people controlling the Justice system. How many years do you think the guy that Donte Stallworth killed would have been sentenced to if it was him who ran over and killed Donte Stallworth? He probably would have gotten life or even the death penalty.

Well it didn’t take long for a story to pop up to prove my point. I hate that it is this way, but it is.

Alright peace out

Remember if you got money your shit don’t stink, if you don’t then you probably need some air freshener.

probably his mugshot

probably his mugshot

The other day I heard that Donte Stallworth,  Wide Receiver of the Cleveland Browns was sentenced for 30 days in jail and 10 years probation. COME ON, what a crock. This is literally bullshit. That just shows you there is no real justice in America. As long as you got the cash you got your freedom.

He killed a man because he was drunk, that is murder. He hit this man with his car and killed him because he was out partying and couldn’t get a cab or a damn limo with all his cash.  I can not believe he is only getting 30 days in jail. Wait, yeah I can believe it, he has millions and he is a sort of celebrity.  I mean that’s what is all about, right? MONEY!!! If this was two teenagers and the driver wrecked because he was over the limit wasted and killed his friend in the passanger seat he would have gotten at least 15 years in prison. Even though the other friend was drunk too he still would have gotten that long in prison. But Mr. Stallworth was the one drunk, the other guy was innocent and crossing the street or whatever and got hit by this dumbass. 30 days in jail, yeah ok I bet Donte is certainly going to learn his lesson.

Mike Vick, who killed some dogs, a breed that the majority of America hates or are scared of, got what 2 1/2 or 3 years in prison and a mean prison like Ft. Leavenworth. Stallworth kills a human being and gets 30 days in a jail. probably a podunk town jail cell where they will leave the cell unlocked for him to do whatever. Oh but he did get suspended from the NFL, oh my that is real justice. Mike Vick got suspended from the NFL too and spent almost 3 years in jail for a few dogs.

I hate hearing about all this crap. They shouldn’t make this stuff public because I know it just pisses off everybody that doesn’t have money coming out of thier asses.  it is ridiculous that this stuff happens. Look O.J. Simpson got off for murder, Robert Blake got off for murder, Michael Jackson got off for molesting kids, no pun intended, and so on. You know what they all have in common? They all have millions and are some kind of celebrity. So what happened with Mike Vick? Hell I don’t know. I guess PETA is a bigger force than our own justice system.  Now you look at people without money or celebrity status and they are in jail for a long time for the same charges.  I don’t think what Mike Vick did is ok, nor what Donte Stallworth did. i just have a problem with someone getting a longer prison sentence for killing a dog breed that not really anyone likes except dog fighters, than someone who killed another human being. It baffles me.

I hate that money is everything, they say let the justice System take care of it, it will work. Whatever, the justice system is bunch of shit. I bet if I was to get drunk tomorrow and hit somebody and kill them I would go straight to prison. No delays in trials, no deals, nothing, just straight to prison.

He will do it again, and so will plenty other professional athletes.

Oh I almost forgot why is D’Wayne Goodrich, the former DB for the Dallas Cowboys still in prison? He did the same thing Stallworth did, got drunk and ran someone over and killed them. He’s been in prison for a long, long time and they still won’t even give him parole. Maybe he didn’t make enough money.

Anyways that is my rant for today.
