How do you get criticized for eating a damn hotdog? I do not understand why anyone is having any type of problem with Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez for eating a hotdog on the sideline after they throttled the Oakland Raiders. I think that Mark Sanchez feeling the need to apologize makes the situation even more absurd. The guy ate a hotdog, he was hungry and said he wasn’t feeling to well so he thought if he ate something he would feel better. Ok, now where in the NFL handbook does it prohibit a player from eating on the sideline? Probably no where, but I could be mistaken.
I would like to know who was complaining about it and felt they needed an apology for it. Was it Raiders fans on the Jets sideline that saw him eating and thought it was disrespectful? How about this Raiders, play better, score some points and play defense. Maybe you are too worried about other things or should I say stupid things than how well your team and coaches are doing.
People need to get a life and quit finding any little incident to bitch about. I can careless if a player eats a hotdog or anything for that matter on the sideline. When runner’s are running in a marathon they grab stuff to eat as they are running, why can’t an NFL quarterback? He is burning energy out there on the gridiron too. I believe it was just angry Raiders fans that hate the fact that their team is atrocious that they feel the need to complain about the team that is whipping their ass or the media really didn’t have anything else better to write about.
Kudos to Mark Sanchez for donating 500 hotdogs and 500 hamburgers and buns to a homeless shelter to feed the needy. I guess people really thought it was wrong for him to eat a hotdog on the sideline that they griped enough to make his PR person feel the need to have him make a donation. Anyways homeless people got feed but the Raiders still got the hides tanned. For everyone else, are you really there to watch for someone eating on the sideline or to watch a football game? C’mon!!!!! Watch the game or go home!!!
